PAINtalks 2018

The Quebec Network of Junior Pain Investigators (QNJPI) is proud to announce the 3rd edition of PAINtalks which will take place in the Salle des promotions of the Séminaire de Québec on October 5th (2018) in the evening.

This bilingual and free initiative is inspired by TED-style presentations and aims to provide the audience with presentations focused on the field of pain. Speakers (6 students and 2 guest speakers) will be asked to discuss controversies and advances in the field of pain.

These presentations must be as accessible as possible, as this edition will be the first to be open to the public.

We are also pleased to announce that the QNJPI has teamed up with Denis François Gravel. President and co-founder of TEDxQuébec, Denis François is also an experienced coach and trainer. All our presenters will be able to benefit from an individual training session with Denis François to ensure high quality presentations.

In order to provide this information to the public, all presentations will be filmed in high definition, then made available to Internet users via our website, our Youtube channel and our Facebook page. The videos will be filmed and edited by Vimetri a professional team that also covers the TEDxQuébec event.

In addition, the winner of the best trainee presentation will be granted a spot (including the US $500 registration fee) at the 2019 edition of the North American Pain School (NAPS).

Finally, the evening will end with a casual cocktail where everyone will have the opportunity to meet and interact with the speakers.
